18. GRANT FUNDS FROM THE ARIZONA AUTO THEFT AUTHORITY FOR THE 2017 LAW ENFORCEMENT PROGRAM Approve the Agreement and acceptance of $3,200 in continued grant funding from the Arizona Automobile Theft Authority (AATA), FY2017 AATA Law Enforcement Grant. The term of this funding is through June 30, 2017. These grant revenues are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitation, and therefore, expenditures of these revenues are not prohibited by the budget law. The Sheriff’s Office indirect cost rate for FY2017 is 19.87%. Unrecoverable indirect costs associated with this grant are estimated to be $633.60. Approval to accept this funding from the Arizona Automobile Theft Authority will provide the Sheriff’s Office funding for the recurring costs for the two bait vehicle systems utilized by the Auto Theft Unit.
