24. ONE-TIME ADDITION TO FLEET Approve a one-time addition of one (1) red-lined vehicle #111107, a 2007 Ford Crown Victoria to the Sheriff’s fleet valued at $12,176. The vehicle will be used in District VII (Fountain Hills) primarily as courier service--mail and warehouse pick-ups, crime lab deliveries, and transportation of personnel to and from County locations so that patrol vehicles can remain in the field for patrol and call outs. Annual operating costs, which will be funded through the General Fund (100), are anticipated to be $5,000. This vehicle will have minimal markings, government plates and will be retired at the end of its useful life with no funding from the general fund for its replacement. (C-50-17-087-V-00)
