11. ONE-TIME ADDITIONS TO SHERIFF’S FLEET Approve one-time additions to fleet of two (2) redlined vehicles, a 2007 Ford Expedition valued at $5,385, and a 2009 Ford Expedition valued at $8,152 to be used in the Sheriff's Special Weapons and Tactics (SWAT) Division. The purpose of these vehicles is for on-call use by the Negotiations Unit to respond to critical incidents which will keep the department compliant and maintain National and Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI) standards. Annual combined vehicle operational costs are anticipated to be $14,000 and will be funded by the General Fund. These vehicles will be retired at the end of their useful life with no funding from the General Fund for replacement. These vehicles will have minimal County markings and Government license plates.
