12. DONATIONS FUND BALANCE EXPENDITURE AND TRANSFER Approve a one-time expenditure of NTE $90,000 from fund balance in the Sheriff’s Department (D500) Sheriff Donations Fund (203). In addition, pursuant to A.R.S. 42-17106(B), approve the transfer of the expenditure appropriation between Non Departmental (D470), Non Departmental Grants Fund (249) and the Sheriff’s Department (D500) Donations Fund (203). a) This action will require an expenditure appropriation adjustment decreasing the Non Departmental (D470) Grants Fund (249) Non Recurring Non Project (NRNP) Contingency (4711) in the line “Unreserved Contingency,” in the amount of $90,000, and b) Increasing the expenditure appropriation in the Sheriff’s Department (D500) Donations Fund (203) Non Recurring Non Project (NRNP) in the amount of $90,000. The approval of this action does not alter the budget constraining the expenditures of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. 42-17105. Approval of this action allows the Sheriff’s Office to expend Donations Fund Balance that has been accumulating for MASH in recent years to cover MASH expenditures.
