10. SUBGRANTEE AGREEMENT REALLOCATION WITH THE ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY Approve a Subgrantee Agreement Reallocation and acceptance of up to $23,774 in continued grant funding from the Arizona Department of Homeland Security (AZDOHS) to the Sheriff's Office for the 2016 Homeland Security Grant Program, Urban Area Security Initiative (UASI) Terrorism Liaison Officer (TLO) Sustainment Project 160812-04. The term of this award is August 1, 2017 through July 31, 2018. These grant revenues are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitation, and therefore, expenditures of these revenues are not prohibited by the budget law. The Sheriff’s Office indirect cost rate for FY18 is 19.9%. Unrecoverable indirect costs associated with this Agreement are estimated to be $4,731.03. Approval to accept this funding will enable the Sheriff’s Office TLO staff to attend conferences/training that will provide information regarding prevention, protection, mitigation, response and recovery of incidents. These training events will allow for networking and will meet the MCSO TLO training needs preparing the user to use up to date and current resources to gather information that is required to investigate and mitigate most incidents that may be faced. Terrorism Liaison Officers to insure proficiency in the performance of their mission and increase their capabilities. (C-50-18-009-G-00)
