IGA WITH CITY OF AVONDALE FOR DETENTION ACADEMY TRAINING Approve an Intergovernmental Agreement between the City of Avondale and Maricopa County through the Sheriff's Office, in the not-to-exceed amount of $150 per participant. The purpose of this Intergovernmental Agreement is to allow City of Avondale detention recruits to attend Sheriff’s Detention Training Academies. This Intergovernmental Agreement is effective from August 1, 2017 until June 30, 2020. The Sheriff's Office conducts several detention academies throughout the year. The cost is for supplies.
