DETENTION SERVICES AGREEMENT WITH GRAND CANYON UNIVERSITY Approve the Agreement between Grand Canyon Education, Inc. on behalf of Grand Canyon University (GCU) and Maricopa County on behalf of the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO), for Detention Services. The purpose of this agreement is to address detention booking and housing services for GCU, a Delaware corporation. This Agreement becomes effective as of the date of the last signature and will remain in effect through June 30, 2020 unless terminated by either party, for any reason, by providing not less than five business days’ written notice. AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT WITH GRAND CANYON UNIVERSITY FOR DETENTION SERVICES Approve Amendment No. 1 to the Detention Services Agreement by and between Maricopa County on behalf of the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office and Grand Canyon Education, Inc. to change the name to Detention Services Agreement by and between Maricopa County on behalf of the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office and Grand Canyon University; and change all instances of Grand Canyon Education, Inc. to Grand Canyon University. Grand Canyon Education, Inc., a Delaware Corporation, assigned its rights and interests to Gazelle University, an Arizona nonprofit corporation, effective July 1, 2018. Gazelle University changed its name to Grand Canyon University effective July 2018. The current Agreement is through June 30, 2020. (C-50-18-019-3-01)
