25. SUBGRANTEE AGREEMENT WITH THE ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF HOMELAND SECURITY FOR THE 2017 HOMELAND SECURITY GRANT PROGRAM, MCSO RRT-CBRNE SUSTAINMENT PROJECT – 170811-02 Approve a Subgrantee Agreement and acceptance of up to $150,345 in continued grant funding from the Arizona Department of Homeland Security (AZDOHS) for the 2017 Homeland Security Grant Program, MCSO RRT (Rapid Response Team) CBRNE (chemical, biological, radiological and nuclear) Sustainment Project -170811-02. The term of this award is October 1, 2017 through September 30, 2018. These grant revenues are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitation, and therefore, expenditures of these revenues are not prohibited by the budget law. The Sheriff’s Office indirect cost rate for FY18 is 19.9%. Unrecoverable indirect costs associated with this Agreement are estimated to be $5,879.46. There will be capital equipment purchased that is excluded from the indirect cost calculation. Approval of this project will enable the Sheriff’s Office to purchase equipment for the Rapid Response and CBRN Team to enhance their capabilities when responding to High Risk / All-Hazards Events.
