ADDITION TO FLEET Approve the permanent addition to fleet of one 2018, white, 1/2 ton, 4 x 4 crew cab, short bed truck with a lock-able camper shell (no windows on shell), estimated to cost $56,000 for the purpose of investigating vehicular crimes associated with traffic collisions. The initial funding source for this vehicle and its associated equipment plus make ready costs is the Sheriff's Office (D500), FY 2018 General Fund (100). Annual operating and maintenance costs are estimated at $5,100 to be paid out of the Sheriff's Major Crimes Division (5063). Also approve an exemption from markings and undercover plates for this vehicle because it will be used in Investigations. A detailed cross-referenced list of vehicle identification numbers is kept on file in the Clerk of the Board’s Office. The impact to the County's vehicle replacement fund is estimated to be $56,000 in FY 2022. (C-50-18-053-V-00)
