12. DONATION OF HORSE FROM TREVOR HERSHBERG Accept the donation of a 14 year-old Bay Warmblood gelding with an estimated value of $18,000 - $20,000 from Trevor Hershberg to be used in the Sheriff's Mounted Patrol Unit. This horse is 16.2 hands tall and previously completed and passed a 40-hour Police Mounted School. The horse was evaluated by a veterinarian and farrier who both found the horse to be suitable for the Sheriff's Office Mounted Unit. He is expected to work approximately six years will cost the Sheriff's Office approximately $3,750 per year in in food, veterinarian and farrier costs. The Mounted Patrol Unit operates out of the Lake Patrol Division. (C-50-18-063-M-00)
