21. PERMANENT ADDITIONS TO FLEET Approve 18 permanent additions to the County Fleet as funded in the FY 2019 budget for assignment to the Sheriff’s Office (D500). Specific vehicle information will be furnished following vehicle acquisition and deployment. Fund 100, General Fund, Compliance (MEL1): Ten (10) sedans to include radios and lights for use by Professional Standards Bureau investigators for an estimated value of $401,000. Also, per A.R.S. 38.538.03 approve exemptions from markings and undercover registrations. Fund 100, General Fund, (1001): 1) One (1) 4 x4 one-ton pickup truck with shell, vault, emergency lighting, radios and MDC for use as a Bomb Squad vehicle for SWAT for an estimated value of $120,000. Also, per A.R.S. 38.538.03 approve exemptions from markings and undercover registrations. 2) Five (5) side-by-side ATV’s with an estimated value of $13,000 each for $65,000 to be used by the Lakes Division. 3) One (1), 4 x 4 one-ton pickup truck with emergency lighting, radios, computer, and a gooseneck trailer hitch with a 2” lift to be used by the Lakes Division as a dive truck with an estimated value of $65,000. Fund 255, Detention Fund, (1001) One (1) electric scissor lift that can lift 500 pounds 25 vertical feet with an estimated value of $12,000 to be used in the food factory. Vehicle replacements for these items will be funded by the respective General Fund and Detention Fund replacement program at the end of useful life. (C-50-19-029-V-00)
