15. PERMANENT ADDITION TO FLEET CUSTOM CARGO TRAILER Approve a permanent addition to fleet of one 18-foot enclosed custom cargo trailer equipped to function as a command center to be purchased initially with Arizona Game and Fish Boating Law Enforcement Safety grant funds at an estimated cost of $82,000. Also approve that it be added to the County’s General Fund Vehicle Replacement pool for future replacement because it has been determined that the need for this vehicle is on-going. This cargo trailer is customized with equipment and accessories that include one Onan 5500-watt commercial gas generator plumbed to the fuel tank and a roof mounted air conditioning system. This trailer will replace trailer #393, which is currently 16 years old. This trailer is used specifically for the Under Water Remote Operated Vehicle (ROV) which was purchased with Homeland Security Funds and is used throughout the region. The trailer will also be used as an operations center where the ROV pilot will be able to conduct an effective search while in a climate controlled and enclosed environment. Because this cargo trailer is a replacement, annual operating costs are anticipated in the budget. (C-50-19-045-V-00)
