SUPPLEMENTAL BENEFITS EXTENSION FOR EMPLOYEE INJURED WHILE IN LINE OF DUTY Approve retroactively a six-month extension of supplemental benefits for MCSO Deputy David Crissinger in accordance with HR2433 with an effective date of January 12, 2018. This injury and its circumstances qualified Deputy Crissinger to receive supplemental pay and benefits that bridge the gap between work related injury compensation and normal pay and benefits with Board of Supervisors approval. On 7/15/2017 a combative suspect assaulted Deputy Crissinger who was investigating an accident resulting in extensive critical injuries requiring multiple surgeries and physical therapy.
