19. AMENDMENT TO AGREEMENT WITH TOWN OF QUEEN CREEK Approve amendment #2 to the Agreement for Law Enforcement Services with the Town of Queen Creek concerning termination. The MCSO will terminate law enforcement services with the Town of Queen Creek at the end of the last shift on January 10, 2022. Also approve the sale and transfer of 27 vehicles, including 2 ATVs, itemized in the Amendment, for $1 each; the transfer of devices and equipment; and credits to the town for devices and equipment that will be retained by the Sheriff’s Office. Credits are limited to items reimbursed by the Town when there were contractual increases in service. The value of the credits for 21 radio units is $35,403. The value of credits for various non-capital employee specific/employee-assigned devices and items such as tasers, body cameras, i -phones, weapons, and body armor to be retained by MCSO is $22,273. Credits will be applied to the final invoice for Law Enforcement Service to be issued by January 31, 2022. Also approve in accordance with A.R.S. 42‐17106(B) the following amendment to the FY 2022 Annual Budget: 1. Increase the FY 2022 revenue and expenditure authority for the Sheriff (D500) General Fund (100) Non-Recurring (NRNP) budget by $187,121. 2. Decrease the FY 2022 expenditure authority for the Non-Departmental (D470) General Fund (100) Non-Recurring (NRNP) Contingency (4711) in the line “Revenue and Expenditure Contingency” by $187,121. 3. Decrease the FY 2022 revenue authority for the Non-Departmental (D470) General Fund (100) Non-Recurring (NRNP) General Government Revenues (4781) in the line “Revenue and Expenditure Contingency” by $187,121. MCSO’s FY 2022 budget was adjusted for a contract end date of December 31, 2021. Approval of this budgetary action reinstates a portion of MCSO’s budget to allow positions and operations to continue through ten (10) days of service in the month of January. (C-50-19-080-3-02)
