12. TRADE IN OF ITEMS FOR CREDIT Approve the trade in of 1,110 Smith and Wesson M&P 9 1.0 Full Size 9MM Pistols for $315 each for a credit of $349,650, and the trade in of 267 Smith and Wesson M&P 45 Full Size 45 ACP Pistols for $315 each for a credit of $84,105. The total credit will be used for the purchase of 1,377 S&W Model M&P 2.0 9mm Sku#11518 for $360 each and a cost of $495,720 per the attached quote. The County has a contract with PROFORCE who will be handling the transaction with Smith and Wesson. The net cost to MCSO is $67,603.82, including tax. The Sheriff’s Office has been working with the Office of Procurement Services on this matter. This will be an FY 2020 transaction. (C-50-19-081-M-00)
