15. APPROPRIATION ADJUSTMENTS FOR SHERIFF’S OFFICE Pursuant to A.R.S. §42-17106(B), authorize the following appropriation adjustments to the FY 2019 budget: 1. Increase the revenue and expenditure authority for the Sheriff (D500) Inmate Services Fund (252) Operating (OPER) budget by $750,000. 2. Decrease the revenue and expenditure authority for Non Departmental (D470) Non Departmental Grants Fund (249) Operating (OPER) in the line “Unassigned Contingency” (4711) by $750,000. The Sheriff’s Office has generated more revenue and expenditures in the Inmate Service Fund (252) than originally anticipated for FY 2019. Also pursuant to A.R.S. § 42-17106(B), authorize the following appropriation adjustments to the FY 2019 budget: 1. Decrease the expenditure authority in the Sheriff Office (D500) General Fund (100) Compliance (MEL0) budget by an amount not to exceed $1,500,000. 2. Increase the expenditure authority in the Sheriff Office (D500) General Fund (100) Operating (OPER) budget by an amount not to exceed $1,500,000. These actions will have a net zero impact on the County-wide budget and do not alter the budget constraining the expenditure of local revenues duly adopted by the Board pursuant to A.R.S. §42-17105.
