25. MOU WITH FRANKLIN POLICE AND FIRE HIGH SCHOOL Approve a non-financial Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Maricopa County on Behalf of the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office and Franklin Police and Fire High School, Phoenix Union High School District for Maricopa County Youth Cadet Post. The initial term of this MOU is four years commencing retroactive to March 1, 2021 and ending March 31, 2025 and is effective upon signatures of all parties. Following the initial term, this MOU may be extended for up to three, one-year terms. This agreement can be canceled by either party within 30-days written notice to terminate to the other party. The purpose of this MOU is to establish a long-lasting partnership between the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office Cadet Program and Franklin Police and Fire High School and Phoenix Union High School District that began last year under an agreement adopted by the Board of Supervisors on March 25, 2020 (C-50-20-043-3).
