VICTIMS’ RIGHTS GRANT FUNDING FROM ARIZONA ATTORNEY GENERAL Approve the FY 2021 Award Agreement and accept funding in the amount of $195,700 from the State of Arizona, Office of the Attorney General, to be used by MCSO to provide services to victims of crime as mandated by A.R.S. Title 13, Chapter 40 and Title 8, Chapter 3, Article 7. The term of this funding is retroactive to July 1, 2020 through June 30, 2021. This funding is recurring. In accordance with Victims’ Rights Program Guidelines, the grant allows a 0% rate for indirect costs, or $0 that may be incurred by the Sheriff’s Office of Maricopa County for the administration of this grant. The Sheriff’s Office indirect cost rate for FY21 is 14.6%. The recoverable indirect cost of administering this grant is $0; the non-recoverable indirect cost is estimated to be $28,572.20 to be covered by the department budget. This grant is non-competitive and does not require a match. The grant award does not require on-going cash contributions after the grant period end date. Authorize the Chairman of the Board of Supervisors, or designee, to sign all documents related to this award. Grant revenues are not "local revenues" for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitation, and therefore expenditure of the funds is not prohibited by the budget law (C-50-21-019-X-00)
