FUNDING FROM ARIZONA ATTORNEY GENERAL’S OFFICE FOR FY 2021 LAW ENFORCEMENT EQUIPMENT Approve the Agreement and acceptance of $50,000 in advance grant funding from the Arizona Attorney General’s Office (AG), for Law Enforcement Equipment. This one-time funding award was a result of a competitive process and there is no cash or in-kind matching requirement. The Sheriff’s Office indirect cost rate for FY21 is 14.6%. Unrecoverable indirect costs associated with this Agreement are estimated to be $7,300 and will be absorbed by the General Fund. There is no match and there are no future or on-going cash contributions required. This funding supports the Sheriff Office public safety mandate. These grant revenues are not local revenues for the purpose of the constitutional expenditure limitation, and therefore, expenditures of these revenues are not prohibited by the budget law.
