IGA CITY OF TEMPE PD DETENTION TRAINING ACADEMY Approve an Intergovernmental Agreement between City of Tempe by and through the City of Tempe Police Department (Tempe PD) and Maricopa County by and through the Sheriff's Office (MCSO) for Tempe PD Detention Officer recruits to attend MCSO Detention Academy for a cost of $250 per academy registrant. This IGA is effective September 1, 2020 through August 31, 2022 and when signed by the parties. Following the initial term, it will automatically renew for up to two, one-year terms unless canceled or terminated. This Agreement can be amended by mutual written consent by authorized parties and can be terminated with a 30-day written notice of termination. (C-50-21-073-X-00)
