IGA WITH CITY OF APACHE JUNCTION FOR SWORN BASIC TRAINING ACADEMY Approve an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) between Maricopa County on behalf of the Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) and City of Apache Junction regarding the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office Sworn Basic Training Academy. This Agreement allows City of Apache Junction law enforcement recruits to participate in scheduled MCSO Sworn Basic Training Academies at a cost of $750 per registrant, as space permits after MCSO's needs are met. The term is January 1, 2021 through December 31, 2022 and will automatically renew up to two, one-year terms following the Initial Term unless terminated. It is effective when signed by the parties.
