52. DONATIONS TRANSFER TO MASH CAPITAL FUND Accept a donation in the amount of $250,000 from the MCSO MASH 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization. The MCSO MASH 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization solicits donations from private donors for the purpose of funding a new MASH animal shelter facility. These donations are restricted by the donor to be used solely for costs incurred for the project management, design and construction of the new MASH animal shelter facility. The MCSO MASH 501(c) (3) nonprofit organization is now donating these restricted funds to Maricopa County where they will be used solely for the project management of a new MASH animal shelter facility. Pursuant to §42-17106, approve the following adjustments to the FY 2021 budget: 1. Increase the revenue and expenditure authority for the Sheriff’s Office (D500) Sheriff MASH Capital Donation Fund (430) Non Recurring (NRNP) by $250,000. 2. Decrease the revenue and expenditure authority for the Non Departmental (D470) Non Departmental Grant Fund (249) Non Recurring (NRNP) by $250,000. These changes will have an overall impact of zero to the County’s FY 2021 budget. This budget adjustment will allow for the expenditure of the donated funds for the project management of a new MASH animal shelter facility. (C-50-21-082-X-00)
