13. COMPETITION IMPRACTICABLE WITH SILVUS TECHNOLOGIES Approve a competition impracticable procurement with Silvus Technologies in the NTE amount of $159,813.30 for a one-year period. Silvus Technologies is the only company with compatible equipment to existing platform and equipment that has been installed in MCSO helicopters (MIMO) that will facilitate the transmission of video surveillance from MCSO helicopters by providing a means to power, stabilize, monitor, control and record surveillance footage in the most demanding environments.
