26. IGA WITH AK-CHIN INDIAN COMMUNITY SWORN AND DETENTION ACADEMY Approve an Intergovernmental Agreement between Maricopa County and the AK-CHIN Indian Community regarding Maricopa County Sheriff's Office Sworn and Detention Basic Training Academy for AK-CHIN recruits to attend MCSO Detention and Sworn academies at a cost of $250 per Detention Academy registrant and $750 per Sworn Academy registrant. This IGA is effective June 1, 2021 through May 31, 2023 and when signed by the parties. Following the initial term, it will automatically renew for up to two, one-year terms unless canceled or terminated. This Agreement can be amended by mutual written consent by authorized parties and can be terminated with a 30-day written notice of termination. (C-50-21-191-X-00)
