21. MOU WITH ARIZONA DEPARTMENT OF PUBLIC SAFETY FOR RAPID DNA SITE Approve a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between Arizona Department of Public Safety and Maricopa County by and through Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) for MCSO’s participation in the Arizona Law Enforcement Rapid DNA Program as a partner site. This MOU establishes responsibilities and functions of the parties. This is a non-financial MOU and is effective upon the last date of signature on the last page of the MOU. The term is one year from the last date of signature with automatic renewal for one-year terms every year for a total of five (5) successive years, not including the initial term, with the provision that MCSO must successfully complete an annual audit by AZDPS Rapid DNA Program Manager and remedy any findings within a 30-day period. Either party may terminate the agreement upon thirty day’s written notice to the other party. (C-50-22-067-X-00)
