24. POSITION REASSIGNMENT FROM QUEEN CREEK CONTRACT Authorize the permanent addition of five positions that were originally established for the Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) Law Enforcement Contract Services operations in Queen Creek which is terminating effective January 11, 2022. These five positions were budgeted through December 31, 2021 and need to be retained for reassignment in the MCSO’s re-organized Investigations Bureau. The positions are required to maintain operational effectiveness and include one Law Enforcement Captain position (PCN 66602), two Law Enforcement Lieutenant positions (PCN’s 65777 and 78703), one Criminal Intelligence position (PCN 70231) and one Admin/Ops Specialist (PCN 76501). Also direct the Budget Office to adjust the Sheriff (D500) General Fund (100) Operating (OPER) FY 2023 Budget Baseline by $834,343 to fund the positions. The FY 2023 baseline adjustment will be offset by reductions to the Non-Departmental (D470) General Fund (100) Operating (OPER) Budget. (C-50-22-069-X-00)
