IGA WITH CITY OF SURPRISE FOR SWORN BASIC TRAINING ACADEMY Approve an Intergovernmental Agreement (IGA) between Maricopa County on behalf of the Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) and City of Surprise Police Department (Surprise PD) regarding the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office Sworn Basic Training Academy. This Agreement allows Surprise PD law enforcement recruits to participate in scheduled MCSO Sworn Basic Training Academies at a cost of $750 per registrant. The term is effective retroactive from July 1, 2021 through December 31, 2023 and when signed by all parties. The former agreement expired June 30, 2021. (C-50-22-152-X-00)
