24. MOU WITH THE HERO FOUNDATION Approve a non-financial MOU with the Hero Foundation, a non-profit organization, that has contracted with Vitanya Brain Performance Centers using ARPA funding through the State of Arizona. The term is January 1, 2022, through November 30, 2024 contingent upon funding. Program objectives, which target individuals that have served in the military and non-military first responders, are: Reduction in tr auma, depression, stress, and anxiety; Increase in stress resiliency; Improvement in executive functioning (working memory, planning, flexibility, organization, initiation, inhibitory control, self-monitoring, attention, and emotional regulation); and Imp rovement in quality of life (physical health, social relationships, environment, general outlook, psychological health and overall quality of life). Each recipient will receive a complete wellness/brain performance program. This program is made possible through grants and education provided from Heal the Hero. Vitanya Brain Performance is the Foundation's vendor that will provide neuro-science-driven programs to 4,112 first responders. (C-50-22-185-X-00)
