14. ONE TIME ADDITIONS TO FLEET AND EXEMPTION FROM MARKINGS Approve six (6) one-time additions to fleet (321477, 321402,321618,321220, 311651, 312055), that are described in the attached list for use as MCSO Fleet Management loaner vehicles. Two are patrol vehicles and four are detective vehicles and they are currently scheduled for decommissioning. They will be assigned for loaner use by MCSO Fleet Management when active MCSO patrol and detective vehicles are being repaired or during wait times while newly purchased vehicles are being equipped prior to deployment. The annual operating expense for these vehicles is expected to be $5,000 each for a total of $30,000 to be absorbed by the Sheriff’s General Fund budget. The vehicles will be retired at the end of useful life with no funding from the General or Detention funds for replacement. Also, approve continued exemption from markings for the detective vehicles per A.R.S. § 38-538-03: Vehicle 321477, a 2014 Chevy Tahoe, VIN 1GNLC2E01ER200307; Vehicle 321402, a 2014 Chevy Tahoe, VIN 1GNLC2E04ER177685; Vehicle 321618, a 2016 Chevy Tahoe, VIN 1GNLCDEC9GR314354; and Vehicle 321220, a 2012 Chevy Tahoe, VIN 1GNSK2E04CR274641.
