38. MOU WITH MARICOPA COUNTY OFFICE OF ENTERPRISE TECHNOLOGY FOR BACK UP HELICOPTER TRANSPORTATION SERVICE Approve a Memoran dum of Understanding between the Sheriff’s Office and the Office of Enterprise Technology, Radio Division, whereby the Sheriff’s Office will provide backup helicopter transportation when the contracted commercial vendor is unable to deliver service. The un derstanding is retroactively effective to July 1, 2023 and will continue through June 30, 2026. It can be cancelled by either party at any time with a 2-week written notice. The Sheriff’s Office will charge a minimum cost for fuel per service request and based on type of equipment used. The cost of fuel will be based on the rate at the time of service. MCSO has been providing this service since July 2014. The current MOU for this service expired June 30, 2023. (C-50-24-010-X-00)
