29. COMPETITION IMPRACTICABLE WITH TELEDYNE FLIR UNMANNED GROUND SYSTEMS, INC Approve a Competition Impracticable (CI) with Teledyne FLIR Unmanned Ground Systems, Inc. in the amount of $114,000 to upgrade and repair existing robot systems. These robot systems are manufactured and provided by FLIR Unmanned Ground Systems, Inc. There are no other systems available on the market that use the same operating systems or allow the ability to combine multiple units onto one controller unit. These robot platforms are a system currently used by the Bomb Squad Bomb Technicians which ensures complete compatibility of both training and usage. The MCSO has been using this system for several years now. (C-50-24-143-X-00)
