27. ONE-TIME ADDITIONS TO FLEET AND EXEMPTION FROM MARKINGS Approve three one-time additions to fleet of red-lined vehicles as follows: (1) Vehicle #311725, a 2015 Ford Expedition with approximately 168,889 miles (2) Vehicle #311724, a 2017 Ford Expedition with approximately 147,010 miles (3) Vehicle #311707, a 2017 Ford Expedition with approximately 102,337 miles These vehicles to be assigned to K9 unit in the SWAT Division as spare vehicles when an assigned vehicle is for service and administrative staff for daily duties as needed. Also, approve exemption from markings for vehicles #311724 and #311707 and ghost markings on #311725 as per A.R.S. § 38-538-03. The annual operating expense for these vehicles is expected to be approximately $5,000 each for a total of $15,000 and will be absorbed by the General Fund. Each vehicle will be retired at the end of its useful life with no funding from the general fund for replacements. (C-50-26-068-X-00)
