23. EXEMPTION FROM VEHICLE GOVERNMENTAL DECALS AND PLATES FOR OFFICE OF THE PUBLIC DEFENDER Pursuant to A.R.S. 38-538-03 and §28-2511(A), approve the issuance of non-governmental license plates and exemption from county markings for 11 vehicles assigned to the Office of the Public Defender (8 Ford Focus, 2 Chevrolet Impala, 1 Ford Escape). These vehicles, 521524, 621602, 621614, 752721, 752722, 821803, 211203, 211204, 211207, 211208, 711102, will be used primarily for felony case investigation, witness interviews, and crime scene investigation. The nature of these activities requires the vehicles be unmarked. A detailed cross-referenced list of vehicle identification numbers is kept on file with the Clerk of the Board. (C-56-13-006-V-00)
