PUBLIC DEFENSE SERVICES NON-RECURRING REQUEST FOR REVIEW OVER BASELINE Approve an exception to the FY 2019 Budgeting Guidelines and Priorities allowing the review of Public Defense Services non-recurring budget request over baseline. The following is requested as a re-calendarization of multi-year funding originally requested in FY 2016: • Capital PCR Case Backlog Representation $2,521,921 (Non-Recurring Expense, Fund 100) The amount requested above is an ongoing need that was first addressed with non-recurring funding in FY 2013. The original amount set aside for the cases was fully expended. In FY 2016, Public Defense Services requested an additional $6,102,470 for the remaining costs anticipated to be incurred for FY 2016 through FY 2020. The projected balance of the $6,102,470 is requested to be budgeted in FY 2019. (C-56-18-006-M-00)
