37. DECLARE/SELL EXCESS PARCEL Approve to declare approximately 1.09 acres as excess land. The parcel is located on the northeast corner of 89th Avenue and Williams Road (22600N). On April 3, 2012, Maricopa County Department of Transportation staff recommended this property for sale. The excess property will be sold to the highest bidder at public auction pursuant to A.R.S. § 11-251. The sale price will be market value, to be determined by a certified licensed appraiser, either at the start point of an oral auction, or, in the event of a sale to a municipality, at market value without an auction. The property is located in Supervisor District 4. This item requires unanimous approval of the Board. (C-64-12-026-M-00)
