35. CHANGE IN TRAFFIC CONTROLS ON RIGGS ROAD Approve a change in traffic controls (Speed Limits) on unincorporated right-of-way at the following location: A 45 MPH SPEED LIMIT ZONE (from a 55 MPH SPEED LIMIT ZONE) on Riggs Road from Interstate 10 to Price Road. (This partially rescinds the 55 MPH speed limit zone dated December 6, 1971 and rescinds the 55 MPH speed limit zone dated March 2, 1981). This agenda item is the results of completion of a MCDOT’s Safety Improvement Project to reduce speeds in areas that have changed from rural to urban. Supervisory District No. 5 (C-64-13-070-M-00)
