60. MC 85 MONITORING WELL ABANDONMENT Approve the abandonment of a monitoring well that is located at MC 85 in Buckeye and is no longer needed. The well was installed back in 1993 to monitor groundwater contamination in the area. The Arizona Department of Environmental Quality (ADEQ) has requested that this monitoring well be abandoned because it is no longer needed. The well abandonment is being funded by ADEQ. The well will be abandoned by a contractor approved by the County to perform well abandonments. Approve the well abandonment application submitted to the Arizona Department of Water Resources.
