47. MARICOPA COUNTY RESOLUTION FOR CLEARING PROPERTY FOR PRE-CONSTRUCTION PURPOSES Approve the Maricopa County Resolution for Clearing Property for Pre-Construction Purposes. This will allow preconstruction activities to begin on Board approved MCDOT roadway projects so that the rights of way can be cleared quickly and without delay. This will also save Maricopa County time and money. There are many activities involved in clearing the right of way so that public works projects can begin. These activities include abandonment of wells, removing swimming pools and fences, demolishing structures, environmental testing and many others. This resolution will assist the Public Works Real Estate Division in performing all activities for pre-construction of projects without delay.
