73. CHANGE ORDER NO. 6 WITH TRISTAR ENGINEERING AND MANAGEMENT, INC. Approve Change Order No. 6 to Contract No. 2011-039 with Tristar Engineering and Management, Inc. in an amount of $162,001.27 for Construction Administration Services on the Northern Parkway - Sarival to Dysart, Phase 1, Project No. TT195. Change Order requested to modify the Construction Administration Services contract in two parts 1) Extend the Base Contract Period of Service and increase the Base Contract Not-to-Exceed Fee for factors beyond the contract scope and control of the Consultant; 2) An additional Optional Task Allowance for Overtime, to be used if authorized. Base Contract Terms: Extend the Base Contract Period of Service 29-days and increase the not-to-exceed contract base fee $151,040.59 due to the Construction Contractor being five-months behind schedule. With this Change Order No. 6 and prior Change Order No’s. 3, 4 & 5, the Base Contract Period of Service will have been extended a total of 170-days due to the Construction Contractor schedule slippage. The Optional Task Allowance time extension of 120-days per previous Change Order No. 3 is unaffected by Change Order No. 6. The Optional Task Allowance completion date shall be 120-days after the revised Base Contract completion date of 9/30/13. Optional Task Allowance: Optional Task Allowance in the not-to-exceed amount of $10,960.68 for Overtime. Per Section III of the contract, all overtime work requires written pre-approval and compensation will be at the rates in Table D, Overtime Rate Designation, of the contract.
