56. SELL OF EXCESS LAND Approval to declare approximately 0.413 acres as excess land. Maricopa County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) staff determined the property as excess to MCDOT projects. The parcel is located north of Broadway Road, at 39th Avenue. Unanimous Board approval requested. The property is located in Supervisor District 5. The excess property will be sold to the City of Phoenix as part of their Broadway Road widening project. The sale price will be market value, as determined by a certified licensed appraiser.
