48. NEW TRAFFIC CONTROLS ON CARVER ROAD Approve new traffic controls (Speed Limits) on unincorporated right-of-way at the following location: A 40 MPH SPEED LIMIT ZONE (from a 45 MPH SPEED LIMIT ZONE) on Carver Road from .50 miles east of 43rd Avenue to 35th Avenue. (This rescinds the 45 MPH speed limit zone dated January 16, 1984). This agenda item is the result of a study to post speed limit signs on roadways that warrant a reduction in the existing speed limit to match existing roadway conditions.
