51. CHANGE IN TRAFFIC CONTROLS ON 35TH AVENUE Approve a change in traffic controls (Speed Limits) on unincorporated right-of-way at the following location: A 40 MPH SPEED LIMIT ZONE (from a 45 MPH SPEED LIMIT ZONE) on Carver Road from .50 miles east of 43rd Avenue to 35th Avenue. (This rescinds the 45 MPH speed limit zone dated January 16, 1984). A 40 MPH SPEED LIMIT ZONE (from a 45 MPH SPEED LIMIT ZONE) on 35th Avenue from Carver Road to Elliot Road. (This partially rescinds the 45 MPH speed limit zone dated January 16, 1984). This agenda item is the result of a study to post speed limit signs on roadways that warrant a reduction in the existing speed limit to match existing roadway conditions.
