93. CHANGE IN TRAFFIC CONTROLS ON EL MIRAGE ROAD Approve a change in traffic controls (Speed Limits) on unincorporated right-of-way at the following location: A 45 MPH SPEED LIMIT ZONE (from a 50 MPH SPEED LIMIT ZONE) on El Mirage Road from Indian School Road to Northern Avenue. (This partially rescinds the 50 MPH speed limit zone dated August 6, 1973). This agenda item is the results of completion of MCDOT’s Safety Improvement Project to reduce speeds in areas that have changed from rural to urban. This is being done at the request of the City of Avondale to establish consistent speed limits between jurisdictions. Supervisory District No. 4 (C-64-14-142-M-00)
