56. CHANGE IN TRAFFIC CONTROLS ON RIGGS ROAD Approve a change in traffic controls (Speed Limits) on unincorporated right-of-way at the following location: A 40 MPH SPEED LIMIT ZONE (from a 50 MPH SPEED LIMIT ZONE) on Riggs Road from 0.25 miles west of Sossaman Road to 0.40 miles east of Sossaman Road. (This partially rescinds the 50 MPH speed limit zone dated September 8, 1987). This agenda item is the results of completion of a MCDOT’s Safety Improvement Project to reduce speeds in school zones.
