55. CHANGE IN TRAFFIC CONTROLS ON SOSSAMAN ROAD Approve a change in traffic controls (Speed Limits) on unincorporated right-of-way at the following location: A 40 MPH SPEED LIMIT ZONE (from a 45 MPH SPEED LIMIT ZONE) on Sossaman Road from Riggs Road to 1/2 mile south of Riggs Road. (This partially rescinds the 45 MPH speed limit zone dated March 1, 2006). This agenda item is the results of completion of a MCDOT’s Safety Improvement Project to reduce speeds in school zones.
