61. COMPETITION IMPRACTICABLE CONTRACT WITH BENTLEY SYSTEMS, INC Authorize the execution of a Competition Impracticable Contract for a three year enterprise license agreement with Bentley Systems, Inc. in the amount of $283,366.77. This agreement also includes a three year renewal option. The fee for software support and maintenance for the period 01 July 2014 through 30 Nov 2014 is $37,273.09. This file format is utilized by the MCDOT road design teams to provide project deliverables that meet established MCDOT CADD standards within MicroStation. The Bentley Select Server subscription allows managed access to the Bentley software applications by approximately 70 MCDOT CAD/CADD users. Applications include: MicroStation, InRoads, InRoads Survey, LEAP Bridge Enterprise, Bentley Storm CAD, Bentley MAP and Bentley LEARN subscription. MCDOT has used this software platform for a number of years and is an industry standard for DOT agencies nationally. All MCDOT standards have been developed based on the use of this software. These standards are tightly integrated within all of the applications provided under this licensing agreement. Bentley Systems, Incorporated is the only supplier and provider of this software. Approve an increase to the amount authorized on Contract No. 14079-CI, a sole source contract with Bentley Systems, Inc., of $62,975 to fund this integrated software and services through contract end November 30, 2017. This file format is utilized by the MCDOT road design teams to provide project deliverables that meet established MCDOT CADD standards within MicroStation. 71. AMENDMENT TO CONTRACT WITH BENTLEY SYSTEMS, INC. Authorize Amendment #1 which includes an increase to the amount authorized on Contract No. 14079-CI to cover an additional three year renewal option of a sole source contract with Bentley Systems, Inc., in the amount of $343,940 to fund this integrated software and services through contract end November 30, 2020. This file format is utilized by the MCDOT road design teams to provide project deliverables that meet established MCDOT CADD standards within MicroStation. MCDOT has used this software platform for a number of years and is an industry standard for DOT agencies nationally. All MCDOT standards have been developed based on the use of this software. Bentley Systems, Incorporated is the only supplier and provider of this software. The original contract was approved by the Board on November 5, 2014 14079-CI under agenda item C-64-15-047-M-00. That approval authorized the expenditure amount of $283,366.77. This amount was estimated to cover cost for FY15, FY16 and FY17. Two increases to the expenditure were authorized for $62,975 (C-64-15-047-M-01) and $3,340 (C-64-15-047-M-02) to cover the remainder of the 3 year contract expiring on 11-30-2017. An additional increase of $343,940 is requested to cover cost for a 3 year renewal option FY18, FY19 and FY20. (C-64-18-069-M-00)
