47. AGREEMENT WITH THE STATE OF ARIZONA FOR INSTALLATION AND MAINTENANCE OF PATHFINDER LOGO SIGNS Approve the interagency agreement (Agreement) between Maricopa County (the “County”) and the State of Arizona, acting by and through its Department of Transportation (the “State” or “ADOT”) for the installation and maintenance of certain pathfinder logo signs within unincorporated County limits. All maintenance and removal obligations by the State are perpetual unless or until the Agreement is terminated through appropriate actions by the County and the State. The purpose of this Agreement is to detail the State’s responsibilities for the installation and maintenance of certain pathfinder signs, as part of the “State Logo Signs Program” (Program), and the County’s respective review and approval responsibilities. The Agreement provides that the State will, as part of the Program, install and maintain certain “pathfinder” logo signs within unincorporated Maricopa County limits, where applicable. The terms of the agreement are effective as of the State Attorney General’s Office approval and shall remain in full force and effect until completion of the project or termination of the Agreement. Either party may terminate this Agreement at any time by furnishing the other party with a thirty (30) day written notice. Supervisory Districts No. 1, 2, 3, 4, and 5 (C-64-15-103-M-00)
