85. BID AND AWARD FOR LOCAL ROADS REHABILITATION, PAVEMENT PRESERVATION PROJECT Approve the solicitation of bids for the Maricopa County Department of Transportation's Local Roads Rehabilitation, Pavement Preservation (PAVE) Project, Sub-Project Number T473. Award of the contract will be to the lowest responsive responsible bidder, provided that the lowest responsive responsible bidder does not exceed the Engineer’s estimate by more than ten percent. This project consists of replacing deteriorating existing road surfaces with new asphaltic concrete pavement. These measures are necessary due to the deteriorating pavement on these roads and will extend the useful performance life of these roads. Resurfacing and delineating these roads will provide structurally sound, smooth-riding, and safe roadways for the traveling public. Supervisor Districts No. 1, 2, and 5 (C-64-15-135-5-00)
