60. CHANGE IN TRAFFIC CONTROLS ON 339TH AVENUE Approve a change in traffic controls (Speed Limits) on unincorporated right-of-way at the following locations: A 50 MPH SPEED LIMIT ZONE (from a 55 MPH SPEED LIMIT ZONE) on 339th Avenue from Interstate 10 to Indian School Road / Tonopah Salome Highway. A 45 MPH SPEED LIMIT ZONE (from a 50 MPH SPEED LIMIT ZONE) on 339th Avenue from Van Buren Street to Interstate 10. (This rescinds the 50 MPH speed limit zone dated October 15, 1979). A 50 MPH SPEED LIMIT ZONE (from a 55 MPH SPEED LIMIT ZONE) on 339th Avenue from Salome Highway to Van Buren Street. This agenda item is the result of a request from area residents concerning new mailbox clusters being installed at three different locations and the congestion and number of vehicle crashes at the truck stop located just south of Interstate 10.
