83. IGA WITH TOWN OF QUEEN CREEK FOR WATER AND SEWER EXTENSIONS AT THE INTERSECTION OF RIGGS ROAD AND POWER ROAD Approve Intergovernmental Agreement between Maricopa County and the Town of Queen Creek for water and sewer extensions at the intersection of Riggs Road and Power Road. The purpose of this Agreement is to identify and define the Parties’ respective obligations and responsibilities related to the installation and costs of the Water and Sewer Improvements as included in the Project. Funds are budgeted in Transportation Department (640) Transportation Capital Project Fund (234) for County Arterials (ARTS) Project, Sub-project T429. The Town of Queen Creek has requested that to the County add the following water and sewer improvements to the Project: 1) Installation of an 8 inch water line; 2) Installation of an 8 inch sewer line and 3) Installation of a 12 inch sewer line. The County will invoice the Town of Queen Creek for the estimated cost of $66,000 for the water and sewer improvements upon the notice to proceed with construction. The Town of Queen Creek shall be responsible for all costs associated with the requested water and sewer improvements, as well as manholes, service lines, fittings, valves, plugs, sidewalk repair and any other related items. This Agreement shall become effective as of the date it is approved by the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors and the Queen Creek Town Council. Supervisory District No. 1 (C-64-16-155-M-00)
